Dangerous driving in Reading cause accident.

Last night around 5:15 p.m. Reading Police and Fire received 911 calls reporting an accident on Route 28 near #899.

The first arriving unit found a motorcycle operator lying on the ground with his bike under some bushes on the side of the road and a short distance away was a car on its side.

Crews began treating both operator; but; focusing primarily on the motorcycle operator due to the extent of his injuries. He was transported to Lahey hospital in Burlington. The operator of the car was treated on scene.

Route 28 was closed in both north and south bound direction while crews where on scene.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
