The water well is on fire, Huh !?
Today lunch for the fellah's at Lynnfield fire would have to be put on hold as the tones would drop on them for a box alarm for a possible structure fire.
As they where jumping into their gear and the rigs where turning over the dispatch came on with the response, reporting a 911 call reporting smoke coming from the Boston Clear Water building on Lowell Street.
Down the ramps, flicking for the switches lights and stomping the foot peddle for the Q and air horns HQ companies made the quick left then right flying up Main Street towards the scene. After a left on Lowell crews quickly arrived on scene and reported smoke showing.
As crews began stretching lines to put the wet stuff on the hot stuff the 2nd due arrived on scene and played tag with the hydrant laying a feeder line across Lowell Street shutting down the road. They laid into Engine 3 which was 1st due to the scene.
The ladder arrived and was ordered to stage out on Lowell Street at the top of the Drive way.
Crews where able to quickly knock down the fire saving the building. No additional resources where needed on scene; but mutual aid was called to cover the town while units where on scene.
