Woburn battling a secong on Forest Park rd.
Early this evening crews from Woburn battled a second alarm fire at 104 Forest Park rd. When crews pulled up the found moderate smoke and fire coming from the roof in the area of the house's electrical service. They went to work battling the fire; however; where slowed by the live electrical wires. The senior officer on scene repeatedly called for the utility company. Once the service was cut the crews opened up the roof in the area where the service connected to the house and wet down any remaining hot spots. The homeowner; who is reportedly partially deaf; was lucky that a passerby by the name of Lisa saw the smoke and fire and beat down the door getting him and his dog out of the house prior to the fire department arriving. The fire investigation unit it was on scene investigating the fire; but; it is not considered suspicious.
