No matter how big or small the flames are, regardless of how thick the smoke is if Ladder 1 is there and he's on this man is in the thick of it getting his hands dirty and eating the smoke! He's throwing ladders like he's a 20 year old probbie fresh out the academy. He's laying the line in and manning the nozzle; but; he's a truckie! He's on the roof venting or check for the hot spots! He has served the citizens of Lowell well.
