A crazy day, getting even crazier!
What would start off as a crazy day in Lowell with a suicide woman jumping off a bridge in the city, would get even crazier before the end of the night.
Just around dinner time the tones would drop, for yet another report of a jumper down. This time it would be out along the highway (Rt 495) over the Concord river.
Crews race to the apparatus and hooked up the boat trailer to the rig and raced to the highway.
Mass State police was already on scene when crews arrived. They had received a single call reporting a person had jumped from the bridge.
With no access for crews from the side of the highway, Downtown companies Engine3, "The Rescue" and dive Rescue responded with another boat to the boat launch on Billerica St. where they launched their boat and began searching the river.
After several search passes nothing was found and crews where cleared.
