Broken Hearts in Breakheart as one person drowns

Dinner time was interrupted for the fellas in Saugus, when the tones dropped and the dispatcher came across the air dispatching them to Breakheart reservation for a possible water rescue, a report of a missing swimmer.

Crew jumped onto the rigs and began screaming across the city making thier way to the narrow and curvy paths of the reservation. The senior officer (S.O.) yelling across his radio find a spot to get the boat in.

Know he was face with a daunting search and rescue the S.O. was on and off his radio regularly requesting additional resources. "Command to Fire Alarm, request MSP dive team!", "Command to Fire Alarm, I want Wakefield's boat!", "Fire Alarm get me Beverly's Dive team!"

And with all these request the still and silent air of the wooded paths in the reservation began filling with the sounds of sirens and air horns as rigs and crews filtered into the scene.

Fighting their way through the undergrowth crews got boats into the water, one by one, and began making their way out to the point the swimmer was last seen. They searched and searched.

MSP air wing joined and began searching with the FLIR but nothing.

The ambulance crews waited patiently on the shore praying that the fellas could find this person giving them a chance on a successful rescue.

After a long and hard search the radio came alive "We have him coming to shore, CPR in progress!"

Once on shore the crews turned the patient over to the Medic, who transported to an area hospital where the patient was pronounced.

It was a great effort by all on a very hot and humid day.
